12" Custom Rockstar with LARGE Mother of Pearl and Handmade Eyes

This Special Edition Rockstar has a cool twist on a classic shell lure: you get the natural iridescence of shell as well as the contrast and texture from rocks and gems that is so well-loved in a BFD.  I used big dramatic chunks of MOP shell instead of slab, which allows the nacre of the shell to catch the light at different angles as the lure moves through the water.  This Rock Star is double poured with a black top , and has my exclusive handmade eyes.

A classic MOP lure deserves a classic and effective skirt combo - I dressed this one up in BFD's own Big Tuna skirts. 

• 12” Heavy Weight Plunger Rockstar is a solid, heavy, weighted plunger that will work in any position in any condition.
• All BFD Plungers are belly weighted to keep their top up and have oval skirt saddles that present a more lifelike silhouette.
• Diving then surfacing from the corners or riggers, it will not be ignored. Several Charter Boat Captains have commented on its’ perfect action from the short rigger.
